NovaLogic has today announced that Delta Force – Black Hawk Down is in development for the PlayStation 2. NovaLogic are teaming up with Rebellion who will be developing the title. The PlayStation 2 version will include new features not included in the smash hit PC version of the game, including rag doll physics, in-game cutscenes and realistic bullet penetration of buildings.

The game will include a single player campaign and numerous split-screen game modes, but most excitingly it will include online support for up to 32-players – a first for the console. Games will take place over 25 maps and have support for 7 different game types.

Delta Force – Black Hawk Down will hit consoles in the Spring.
