Black Bean has announced that they will publish Gary Grigsby’s World at War for the PC this September. The game has already been released in the US to some critical acclaim and Black Bean hope the game will fair just as well in Europe.

This is a fantastically in depth WWII turn-based strategy game that will test the player’s capacity for military command,” said Marco Minoli, Head of Marketing at Black Bean. “The title has already performed well with US media and we expect to mirror its critical success in Europe.”

In the game you can choose from five armies comprising German, Japanese, Soviet, Chinese, or Western Alliance troops and then lead them into battle. The in-depth strategy title allows you to command 15 land, sea and air units, as well as infrastructure and supply units.

Gary Grigsby’s World at War is due for release in Europe for the PC on September 23rd 2005.
