As expected, SEGA has rolled out the planned Bayonetta PS3 install patch in Japan with European gamers also getting in on the action.

Bayonetta players will be prompted to download the game update when they next load up the game – provided they’re connected to the internet. Once downloaded, the PS3 game will feature an option to install the game to the PS3’s hard drive, greatly reducing load times.

The patch doesn’t do anything to address the PS3 game’s graphical shortcomings compared to the Xbox 360 version.
