Battlefront Online, a new online only Star Wars game for Xbox 360 and PS3, is currently in pre-production, according to overnight rumours.
Game blog Kotaku is reporting that the game not only exists, but is “tentatively slated to appear in 2011”.
According to Kotaku’s sources, the game is being developed by LucasArts and Slant Six Games, the studio responsible for SOCOM Fire Team Bravo 3 on PSP and the disappointing PS3 game SOCOM Confrontation.
Don’t get your hopes up, though. It’s just a rumour for now, and, as Kotaku points out, the game may never see the light of day.
