DICE has confirmed in a post on Twitter that Battlefield V has now gone gold, and those of you who pick up the game during launch week can claim two in-game bonus items.

As Oskar Gabrielson notes in the video, Battlefield V was originally slated to appear on October 19 before being pushed back one month. The free gifts come in the shape of an 'Oscar Mike' helmet and emblem, and can be downloaded in the shipments section of Battlefield V's Armory upon booting up the game.

These are cosmetic items and don't affect gameplay in any shape or form, but they're a nice gesture and look pretty cool all the same.

Battlefield V is now pencilled in for release on November 20 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The follow-up to 2016's acclaimed shooter will bring back the War Stories single-player campaign, which features narration by Mark Strong and includes a mission set from a German perspective.
