The Battlefield V development team has announced that the upcoming World War II shooter has been delayed until November.

Writing in a post on Electronic Arts' official Battlefield V website, DICE's Oskar Gabrielson revealed that team is using the additional time to 'make some final adjustments to the core gameplay' and deliver on the potential of Tides of War.

This also means that Battlefield V will no longer be released in a month dominated by Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2, which arrived on October 12 and October 26, respectively.

Battlefield V was originally scheduled for release on October 19, so it was sandwiched in the middle of some stiff competition.

The game is now pencilled in for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on November 20.
