EA DICE has revealed the final five Specialists who you’ll get to play as in Battlefield 2042 when it launches next month.
The final five bring the total of playable characters to ten. Replacing the class system from earlier games, each one will have their own unique skills and abilities. They include Navin Rao, a Recon class who can hack players to disrupt their HUDs. There’s also Santiago “Dozer” Espinoza who has a blast shield and takes less damage from explosives.
Next up, Emma “Sundance” Rosier, who gets a Wingsuit and smart explosives. Then there’s Ji-Soo Paik who can spot enemies through walls, as well as those that attack her. Finally, we have medic Constantin “Angel” Anghel who can call down a supply crate to help his team out.
The reveal was accompanied by a post on the Battlefield blog detailing the lessons the development had learned from the recent beta. While they heard concerns from fans that Specialists would limit team work, it seems they think fears will be allayed once fans get to play with all ten. You can check out the full feedback from the beta, including notes on the game’s performance and more, over here.
