Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 5 – Same Stitch will be available to snag on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and mobile platforms on March 27, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced.
The final slice of The Dark Night’s episodic drama sees players faced with one of two possible Jokers; one adhering closer to the classic Clown Prince of Crime we’re familiar with, and the other a vigilante that proves unpredictable and far removed from any incarnation of the iconic villain seen to date.
Same Stitch packs in over three-and-a-half hours worth of content across two distinct scenarios, which are shaped depending on the decisions you’ve made throughout the entirety of the series. Developer Telltale’s calling it the studio’s most ‘branchiest’ episode ever, which says a lot considering the amount of games they’ve made within the genre.Â
‘Without exaggeration, Same Stitch is the most ambitious piece of content Telltale has ever produced,’ commented James Windeler, Season Lead Writer on Batman: The Enemy Within. ‘We had to adjust our usual development process to accommodate the added scope, but it was super important to us to honor players’ choices, whether they chose to befriend John or not. We had to deliver on the season’s central promise of allowing players to craft their own Joker.’
