Batman: Arkham City will be released for PC on November 25, a week later than previously planned, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has confirmed.
No reason for the change of date has been given.
The PC version will be available over a month after the hit game arrived on consoles, but does come with some visual benefits – if you have the hardware to do it.
Nvidia states that a 2.4GHz Dual-Core CPU, 2GB of RAM and a GeForce 8800 GT will give you a high level of visual fidelity, but none of the extras. A GeForce GTX 460, however, in conjunction with a 2.5GHz Dual-Core CPU and 4GB of RAM, will allow you to use the game’s Recommended High settings and PhysX – seen in the trailer below.
Further more, Nvidia says that a GeForce GTX 460 or GeForce GTX 560 will allow you to play Arkham City comfortably at 1920×1080 with PhysX enabled; a GeForce GTX 570 allows you to enable additional DirectX 11 effects; and a GeForce GTX 580 allows you to experience the game in all its glory and in stereoscopic 3D Vision.
