The launch of Batman: Arkham City appears to be have been tarnished by problems with the Collector’s Edition set, with many buyers reporting missing items and DLC codes.
Taking to the game’s official forums, Rocksteady’s European community manager Sarah Wellock explained the situation: “Firstly please accept our sincerest apologies for some of the confusion that has happened surrounding your purchase.
“We wanted to let you know we are looking into the problems as our top priority and are working closely with Warner Bros to make sure you all get the content you were promised and that problems are rectified as quickly as we can.”
Known problems include:
- Gotham Knight: DVD received instead of Blu-ray
- Collectors Edition cards not included
- Catwoman code not included in CE
- Robin DLC not working
The Robin DLC is now said to be fixed, while the team is working with Warner to solve the Catwoman code issue.
Hopefully the issues get resolved quickly as the game doesn’t deserve negative publicity. Read why in our Batman: Arkham City review.
