Beamdog, the firm made up of a number of former BioWare staff, has breathed life into the old Baldur’s Gate website in preparation for an upcoming reveal.

GameBanshee has discovered the company has resurrected the official BaldursGate.com website, and updated the site with a logo and theme song following years of neglect.

Trent Oster, the ex-BioWare designer who formed Beamdog, has so far denied a connection to a release of Baldur’s Gate II Complete Edition.

“We’re not related to the Steam complete edition, I can tell you that much. Other than that, we’re hoping to announce something soon.”

The last release of a Baldur’s Gate title was 2004, with the console game Dark Alliance II.

The Complete Edition of Baldur’s Gate was dug up last week on the official Steam forum.
