Sauron’s trecherous One Ring has made its debut in Baldur’s Gate 3, bringing untold power to the Forgotten Realms for a steep price. Of course, the mod itself is one-hundred-percent free, but the character that bravely dons the evil-infested Tolkein jewellery may end up unable to throw it into a firery pit.

The One Ring infects Baldur’s Gate 3

Following the arrival of functional Pokeball mods and custom maps returning cut content to the RPG, The One Ring mod is another fun addition to Larian’s massive game. Created by modder Drakemobius, the mod can be downloaded right here on Nexus.

After downloading The One Ring, the item can be attached to a character of your choosing, unlocking their full potential with powerful spells and a large boost in stats. Alongside being able to turn invisible at will, you also gain access to boosted forms of Cursed Glint, Void Ray and Bolt Surge.

However, the modder warns players to use the ring at their “own peril” as “once you have a taste, you can never go back”.
