Larian Studios has released another Baldur’s Gate 3 hotfix and this latest update will make it easier for players to defend Isobel at the Last Light Inn. This is because the developers have increased the Selunite Cleric’s HP, making it more difficult for Ketheric Thorm, Flaming Fist Marcus, and a handful of demonic goons to incapacitate and kidnap her.

Since the game’s critically acclaimed launch, one of the aspects that players have often complained about were the difficulty of specific battles. One encounter in particular that fans frequently had trouble with was the battle at Baldur’s Gate 3 Last Light Inn where you’re tasked with preventing Isobel’s abduction and defending the refuge’s inhabitants from her estranged father’s cronies.

Unfortunately, with Isobel only possessing a meager amount of health and her armour class virtually being non-existent, it only takes a few hits before she’s eventually downed. And with Flaming Fist Marcus and each demonic minion having the ability to dish obscene amounts of pain, this encounter almost always ends up in an unfavorable result. Luckily, this should increase Isobel’s survivability in this scenario so players shouldn’t have any more trouble keeping her away from Ketheric Thorm’s cold, Myrkul-worshipping hands.

Of course, these aren’t the only changes that have been included with this Baldur’s Gate 3 hotfix as Larian Studios has also included several multiplayer and gameplay improvements along with addressing some prevalent crashing issues. You’ll be able to check them all out below.
