The magical land of Faerun is often infested with demons, but now a new one has joined the fray via the power of mods. Master Chief, Spartan Sierra 117, John, can now be added to Baldur’s Gate 3 in an awesome Halo mod that allows you to more handily finish the fight.
If you’re tired of Halo Infinite or waiting for an actual Halo CRPG to release one day – which would be sick – then this might be the mod for you.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Halo mod
Created by modder Palmaman33, the “Halo Master Chief Armor and MA5C Assault Rifle” mod brings the Spartan’s iconic Mjolnir Mark VI GEN 3 armour from Halo Infinite to Larian’s spectacular RPG. While not a fully custom companion like some modders are working on—although that would be amazing—this mod lets you become the iconic green man, albeit without his blue lady.

After installing the mod, players will be able to spawn Master Chief’s armour and his trusty MA5C Assault Rifle, the gun’s Halo 3 counterpart, and use them to decimate enemies. Players will be able to fire off bursts of gunfire at every grunt, I mean Goblin, and decimate their foes.
As every Baldur’s Gate 3 player is expressly aware, the game is chock-full of saucy smut scenes to make us fluster. Depending on how much armour you decide to wear, you can romance someone as Chief with your whole rear out, recreating the cringe-fest that is the Halo TV show. (Season 2 was much better though, please trust me.)
To continue your Halo experience, the same modder has also created an Energy Sword mod, bringing the iconic Halo weapon to the world of Faerun. Not only can this mod be used in combination with the Master Chief armour, but you can also dual wield it, something no actual Halo game has allowed.
With Halo in a bit of a state right now as 343 Industries rebuilds as Halo Studios, there’s a lot of anticipation for the next game in the series. While Halo Infinite is a great game—and it’s multiplayer is free-to-play, please play it—it did massively miss the mark on launch. Hopefully, with a revised team and a shift to Unreal Engine, Halo can be great once more. (I mean, Infinite still is great, but whatever.)
