Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a new game from Massive Entertainment, and it has has a reveal trailer.
During the Ubisoft Forward showcase, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora made itself known, with a Na’vi-filled trailer.
Check out the trailer:
The description reads:
“In this new, standalone story, play as a Na’vi and embark on a journey across the Western Frontier, a never-before-seen part of Pandora. Explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters, and push back the formidable RDA forces that threaten it.”
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is “a first person, action-adventure game,” and the developer behind the game is Massive Entertainment. Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney are also working on it, in collaboration with Ubisoft.
It was one of the stranger reveals in the Ubisoft Forward showcase. Not least because the last game—and indeed James Cameron’s film—was so long ago.
Ubisoft hasn’t given us a release date yet, other than saying it is “coming in 2022 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, PC, Stadia and Luna.”
So there you have it. If you’ve felt utterly incomplete due to the lack of an Avatar game, you can now rest assured, and bide your time until next year.
