dtp entertainment AG, a leading German game publisher, and development studio 49 games have announced the summer release of Summer Athletics for Wii, Xbox 360, PS2 and PC.
The game will feature over 25 of the most popular summer sports disciplines, including sprinting, hurdles, cycling, archery, javelin, hammer and swimming.
dtp is promising intuitive controls so the whole family can take part and character customisation options mean each player will be able to create a virtual athlete unique to them.
We’re also told the game will feature lifelike 3D graphics, realistic animations and a stadium atmosphere that captures the feeling of live competition.
dtp’s title will have the formidable officially licensed Olympic Games title from SEGA to compete with this summer, but early shots of the PC version do show some promise.
Expect news on an official release date in the coming months.
