Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Rogue is now playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility, Microsoft has confirmed.

Rogue was the last Assassin’s Creed game to launch on previous-gen systems Xbox 360 and PS3, and many held it in higher regard than the next-gen Unity. The inclusion of naval combat was welcomed, especially given its absence from both Unity and the more recent Syndicate.

AC Rogue is available from the Xbox Store priced £14.99.

Other backwards compatible additions include Borderlands 2 – which will be featured in the March Games with Gold – Gyromancer, Moon Diver, Space Invaders Infinity Gene and The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match.
