The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla 1.5.2 update adds a new building to Ravensthorpe, your in-game settlement, which allows gear loadout options.

Check out the trailer for this nifty new feature below:

The description reads:

“Ravensthorpe is expanding! Use foreign cargo to construct the new Armory building where you can display your favorite gear from throughout your journey. Explore unique playstyles with new customizable loadouts that, once assigned to a loadout slot, can be freely swapped in and out from anywhere in England!”

Allong with this new loadout ability, the patch also brings with it a bunch of bug fixes. If you are curious as to its various changes, then check out the full patch notes here.

In VideoGamer’s review of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, I said:

“Rummaging through Layla’s laptop, I found a recorded chat between Desmond and his colleague Lucy Stillman. He asks about the dangers of his continued dips into the past: ‘Is it possible that if I do this for too long, it’ll push my own memories aside? That I’ll be everyone but myself after a while?’ ‘That’s called identity substitution,’ Lucy says, diagnosing the condition of the entire franchise in recent years.”

And I stand by that. Because the series is so popular, there is little chance that Ubisoft will go back to the series’ old identity. Although, there were recent rumblings about a more stealth-focussed spin-off.
