The next instalment of the Assassin’s Creed series, rumoured to be called Assassin’s Creed: Origins for the last number of weeks, is supposedly out October 27.

A NeoGAF user seems to have gotten their hands on an early copy of the next issue of Game Informer that lists the Autumn release date, and confirms the subtitle Origins.

The magazine spread details that development was looked after by the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag team after that game was done and dusted.

Origins features a new combat system that’s hit-box driven, and a levelling system that caps at 40. As well as that, the game takes place in ancient Egypt during Cleopatra’s reign and previously rumoured protagonist Ba Yek isn’t the only playable character in the game, but the other one is being kept a secret at this time.

The most fantastic of all the little tidbits, though, is that NPCs now have a day/night cycle routine where they eat, sleep, work and ‘answer the call of nature.’ Finally.

You can check out all the details on that NeoGAF post if you can’t wait for Ubisoft’s E3 press conference.
