Video games have offered up some fantastically weird and over the top tie-in products over the years, but this is a good ‘un. So, first of all, Ubisoft has announced that you can now get some exclusive Listen Wireless headphones by Focal, which have the little AC Origins symbol on them, for €250 (or just about £200 on the UK store).

Fair enough, you think to yourself. Decent headphones, especially wireless ones, can go for a decent lick these days, plus there’s a brand tax on top of these. But wait. There’s more.

For some reason that I cannot fathom, other than to get people like me to write bemused stories on it, Ubi has teamed up with an extremely expensive French jeweler Tournaire to make a limited run of extremely tasteful headphones, covered in 18-carat gold design bits. These headphones cost €50 thousand a throw. Please enjoy this picture of them.

But wait again.

If you want you can get a bronze bust of AC Origins protagonist Bayek, limited to a run of 10 numbered pieces, which itself costs €12k, to display said headphones on.

If you’re the sort of person who would spend a combined €62 thousand on these items, please get in touch; I would be literally fascinated to talk to you.
