Ubisoft has lifted the wraps off its plans for Assassin's Creed Odyssey in January, with next chapter of The Legacy of the First Blade DLC, Shadow Heritage, kicking things off on January 15.

Also on the cards is Daughters of Lalaia and Poet's Legacy, which will arrive in the first and latter half of the month, respectively, and continue the free Tales of Greece missions.

Ubisoft is planning to tinker with the scaling system with update 1.1.1, too. Here, you have the option of picking from heavy and light options, which determine whether enemies match your level or are four levels beneath your own.

In addition, two new Mercenary Tiers are being implemented with the update, while Hephaistos' Workshop will open its doors giving you access to new engravings. Finally, Aya will be available to join your crew on the Adrestia.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey was released in October for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. Be sure to read VideoGamer's verdict on the stealthy open-world romp here.

Ubisoft will also be releasing a fully revamped Assassin's Creed III as part of its post-launch slate for the game.
