Apex Legends has now given us a look at the Dressed to Kill event cosmetics and players are already calling this new batch of outfits the “coolest designs for the characters yet.” EA and Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale, though largely popular, hasn’t exactly been known for providing the best accessories and skins for their characters. Luckily, these latest designs are seemingly changing some fans’ minds as many continue to compliment the fashionable choices the developers have made.

Based on many of the comments posted under the official trailer, a large number of people are already looking forward to this limited-time affair purely because of the skins on offer. One user named ploopploop said that they “didn’t even recognize some of the characters with how different the skins are compared to the normal ones.” FrozenStar, another commenter, shared the same sentiment by celebrating the fact that there’s “finally an event with actually good skins.”

The highlight of the new item additions, however, is Horizon’s new Heirloom called the Gravity Maw. In order to acquire this black hole-infused, mace-like object, though, you’ll apparently need to unlock all 24 limited-time cosmetics. This means you have to get started as soon as possible since the event will only last from June 20 until July 4.

Of course, these cosmetics aren’t the only features being added with this event as a new limited-time mode called Armed & Dangerous is also being introduced. In it, you’ll only be able to make use of two completely different weapon types in shotguns and snipers so you’ll need to change your strategy accordingly based on the gun you have.

Respawn Entertainment is also bringing in a bunch of balance changes and bug fixes with this upcoming patch, which you’ll be able to check out through the official event announcement page. Once you’re done taking it all in, we suggest heading to our Apex Legends codes page so you can avail of a few more goodies ahead of this stylish celebration’s launch.
