Eiji Aonuma, producer of The Legend of Zelda, has recorded a video thanking the series’ fans, calling them the “most dedicated, and passionate group of fans” he’s ever come across.

“When Mr Miyamoto approached me years ago to design the dungeons for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, I recognised that I was given the opportunity that might never come again in my life,” Aonuma said in the video made to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Zelda series.

“What I didn’t know is that I would be welcomed into what I believe to be the most dedicated, and passionate group of fans that I have ever encountered,” he added. “I am truly humbled by your support and thank you all.”
