Angry Birds has been downloaded over 30 million times on Android devices, developer Rovio has said at GDC. While Angry Birds costs 59p on the App Store, it’s a free download for Android users.
Back in December Rovio announced that they’d had 5 million downloads on Android and that they predicted $1 million in ad revenue per month by the end of the year. While probably not as simple as this, the new download numbers suggest the studio is making nearly $6 million per month from the Android version of Angry Birds.
