IO Interactive plans to release all seven Hitman episodes “by the end of summer”, with one due to release each month until the season’s conclusion later this year.

The developer confirmed its release plans in a series of tweets, suggesting that the final episode could be due to launch in September. The next episode, which introduces a new Italian location, is due to release in April, with the third, Morocco, coming in May. Future locations include Thailand, Japan and the USA.

Each episode will cost £7.99 to players who purchase the Intro Pack or available at no additional cost to owners of the Full Experience. A disc release containing all seven episodes is due to release in January 2017.

Hitman’s first episode launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC last Friday, March 11. Burns described it as a “strong start” that offers “hours of classic play”, but criticised its performance and “minor bugs”, awarding it an 8/10.
