Advance Wars 1 + 2: Reboot Camp Release Date

Although the release trailer exhibited during the showcase didn’t display too much of its oft praised gameplay, fans of the popular GBA title are still incredibly ecstatic as they now know when they can expect it to arrive on the Nintendo Switch. If you want to see more of what was shown during the livestream, you can check out the preview for yourself below.

Players will soon be able to lead Andy, Max, Sami, and other Commanding Officers to victory over the opposing Black Hole forces. Unfortunately, none of the in-game mechanics were shown throughout the course of the announcement. However, plenty had already been displayed in the initial reveal snippet that was shown in 2022.

According to the available footage, units on the map appear much more three-dimensional and the character models have obviously all been improved. The most important aspect that it retains, however, is its enjoyable grid-based tactical gameplay that was frequently praised with the original release.

Hopefully, this title won’t suffer any more obstacles after being delayed for more than a year. But with what’s been shown of the game so far, the wait may be worth it after all based on the improvements that have been made to it.
