Visually stunning Metro: Last Light will be released for PlayStation 4, developer 4A Games has revealed in a new interview with Ukrainian tech website itcchannel.

The game’s creative director is reported to have told the website that the PS4 version of the shooter will also likely ship with a version of its predecessor, Metro 2033.

The news comes via a translation over on the Metro: Last Light forums, but if true could be great news for PS4 gamers.

In the same interview it was also revealed that 4A plans to release an SDK, likely alongside the launch of a multiplayer version of Metro.

There’s also talk of five DLC story missions for Last Light from the perspective of other characters.

Metro: Last Light will be released May 17 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
