EA Sports has announced football fans will see a full one-off screening of the FIFA 09 TV advert this Sunday, during Sky Sports’ Super Sunday live match between Chelsea and Manchester United.
EA has secured the entire second half-time ad break and will broadcast the full four-minute advert which stars Wayne Rooney and Real Madrid’s Gonzalo HiguaÃn.
“We’re very excited to be showing the full four-minute advert during half time of one of the biggest games in football,” said Trevor Uzice, Senior Product Manager – FIFA 09. “This year’s campaign is all about bringing football fans and gamers together and we hope the advert will prove very popular with everyone.”

FIFA 09 is scheduled for release on October 3 for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, NDS, PSP, PC and Mobile.
