Child of Eden could be coming to the PlayStation 3 with Move support and 3D visuals, Q Entertainment has teased.

While PS3 owners have been forced to wait for Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s follow up to Rez, new features could make up for it.

“It will definitely be worth the couple months that people have to wait for the PS3 version to get finished.” James Mielke, Q Entertainment’s producer told Giant Bomb. “People with PS3s, people with nice TVs, people with all kinds of control options… it’s going to be really cool.”

Nice TVs? 3D TVs are nice, aren’t they? People with all kinds of control options? What, like Move controllers, perhaps? Mielke’s tease seems to point to both PlayStation Move support and 3D visuals when the game launches later in the year.

Some have speculated that Microsoft bought itself a timed exclusive on the game, but Mielke was quick to dismiss the idea. “No money hats,” he joked.

“Despite the fact that the 360 was the lead SKU, the PS3 version is coming along very quickly.”

Child of Eden was released on Xbox 360 last week, scoring well with critics, but failed to place higher than 25th in last week’s UK Video Game chart.

“Child of Eden will linger in your conscious long after playing,” I said in my Child of Eden review of the 360 version. “While it’s a fleeting and – on rare occasions – frustrating experience, it’ll leave its mark on 2011 in just the same way.”

Child of Eden is due for release on PlayStation 3 in September.

That’s a fairly blatant tease right there. If Child of Eden doesn’t come to PS3 with 3D and Move support, I’d be very surprised indeed.
