Best Iuno Builds

Iuno primarily functions as a sub-DPS, which is the only way you can make her function optimally. Here’s the best Iuno build featuring all the best equipment and Echoes that you can use on her.

Build ElementsEquipment
WeaponMoongazer’s Sigil
EchoLady of the Sea
Sonata EffectCrown of Valor
Cost 4Crit Rate or Crit DMG
Cost 3Aero DMG Bonus
Cost 1ATK%

In addition to these, you should also try to maintain about 70 percent to 80 percent Crit Rate on Iuno and over 250 percent Crit Damage. You can easily achieve this as long as every Echo you’ve equipped her with has Crit Rate and Crit DMG affixed to them. Finally, try to maintain about 125 percent Energy Regen for Iuno as she is heavily reliant on her Resonance Liberation on every rotation.

Best Iuno Weapons

Iuno is versatile when it comes to weapon choices, even though Moongazer’s Sigil is the best option for her. However, Wuthering Waves doesn’t have many good 4-star options for her, so you’re stuck with 5-star weapons.

Apart from Iuno’s signature, the best Iuno weapons include Verity’s Handle and Blazing Justice. Verity’s Handle is Xiangli Yao’s signature weapon, and Blazing Justice is Zani’s signature choice. If you have multiple copies of this weapon, you can consider using those.

The following sections provide a detailed discussion on why each of the weapons listed above is good on Iuno.

Moongazer’s Sigil

Moongazer’s Sigil comes with a Crit Rate substat and a very high base attack. This makes it easy to manage Iuno’s Crit Rate when you’re trying to build her.

When it comes to the weapon’s passive, it increases Iuno’s ATK by 12 percent and Resonance Liberation DMG bonus by 20 percent. Both of these are important for Iuno as she will function as a sub-DPS.

Additionally, whenever Iuno receives a shield, this weapon helps shred a target’s DEF by 7.2 percent, and can stack up to five times. This means the target’s DEF will be reduced by 36 percent, which will increase the damage dealt to an enemy massively.

Verity’s Handle

Verity’s Handle is Xiangli Yao’s signature weapon, but it works pretty well on Iuno. This is because it comes with Crit Rate secondary stat, which is useful when trying to balance Iuno’s stats.

It also has a very strong passive that increases Attribute damage bonus by 12 percent and Resonance Liberation damage bonus by 48 percent. Attribute damage means Iuno will gain an Aero damage bonus since she is an Aero unit.

Blazing Justice

Blazing Justice is Zani’s signature weapon, but you can use it on Iuno, though it isn’t as good as the other two choices. This weapon features Crit DMG as a substat, which is good, but in most cases, balancing Crit Rate is more difficult than the other.

The weapon also increases Iuno’s ATK by 12 percent and ignores a target’s DEF by eight percent. These two aspects of the passive work very well with Iuno. The problem is that it also buffs Spectro Frazzle, which is not required for Iuno, making it the least efficient choice.

Best Iuno Echoes

The best main Echo for Iuno is Lady of the Sea. This is also the Echo you will need to farm Iuno ascension materials. This Echo provides both Aero and Resonance Liberation damage bonuses, and its skill is a good source of crowd control.

The best Echo Set for Iuno is Crown of Valor. Lady of the Sea is also part of this set, so you can easily get an Iuno build ready in no time. The Crown of Valor set increases the Resonator’s ATK and Crit DMG, which helps Iuno deal massive damage and play her role as a sub-DPS.

However, Crown of Valor is a 3-piece set, which means you still have two more Echo slots left for Iuno. The remaining two slots can be filled by Sierra Gale, which will provide a 10 percent Aero damage boost as a two-piece bonus. You can use either of the two pieces for Sierra Gale, but we advise using Lady of the Sea as your main Echo.

Iuno Skills And Rotations

The entire Iuno kit is rather complicated, and Iuno’s often excessive lines of text don’t make it easy. However, if you are looking to learn her Skills and Rotations, the following two sections offer a detailed breakdown of how exactly her skills work.

Iuno Skills

Iuno’s kit revolves around her two states: the Half-Moon state and the Full-Moon state. Initially, Iuno will be in her Regular state, when you can use her Resonance Skill one and Resonance Skill two to put her in a Half-Moon state. When you jump after that, she will enter her Full-Moon state.

You can also use the Intro Skill from Iuno’s kit, which triggers her Resonance Skill two. You can use this to put her in Half-Moon state. When you follow it with a basic jump, she enters the Full-Moon state. Finally, Iuno’s Resonance Liberation also puts her in the Half-Moon state, and when you jump again, you enter the Full-Moon state.

In Full-Moon state, Iuno’s Basic ATK and Resonance Skills are enhanced; attacking in this state consumes her Forte Gauge. The first three instances of her Basic ATK consume 50 Forte out of 100, and Enhanced Resonance Skill uses 25 out of 100 Forte.

Finally, Iuno’s Resonance Liberation not only puts her in Half-Moon state, but also maintains the duration of her state. It also deals heavy damage and generates 60 Forte.

Iuno also has a Heavy Attack, which is activated when she has 100 Concerto Energy. If you use it, she will trigger the Full Moon Domain buff, which restores HP and Stamina for a Resonator. It also provides damage amplification for any character who generates a shield, making it suitable for Augusta, fitting, given their closely aligned character arcs.

You should also remember that Iuno heals the party and generates a Shield for herself when she is attacking enemies with her enhanced Basic ATK when in Full-Moon state. This is one of the most essential skills, where she deals high damage. Since this is a source of Shield generation, it synergizes well with the Crown of Valor set.

Rotations

Iuno has two different rotations depending on whether you’re using her with Augusta or with someone else. The rotation with Augusta is a bit long, whereas the other one is much shorter.

If you’re using Iuno with Augusta, then the rotation will be: Intro > Resonance Skill two > Jump > Resonance Liberation > Enhanced Basic Attacks > Enhanced Skill and Echo > Enhanced Skill > Heavy Attack > Outro

If you’re using Iuno with others, then the rotation will be: Intro > Resonance Skill two > Jump > Resonance Liberation > Enhanced Skill and Echo > Outro.

Since only Augusta can make use of the Full Moon Domain in Iuno’s kit, you don’t need to use the special Heavy Attack for other characters.

Best Iuno Team Comps

There are two optimal teams for Iuno in Wuthering Waves. These involve Augusta and Jiyan. A detailed account of both team compositions is outlined below.

Iuno Augusta Team

This team consists of Iuno, Augusta, and Shorekeeper as the three characters. Here, Augusta is the main DPS, Iuno is the sub-DPS, and Shorekeeper is the primary healer.

Scorekeeper provides Crit Rate and Crit DMG boosts through her domain, and she can provide consistent heals for the party. Once Iuno swaps in, you can follow the Augusta-specific rotation as mentioned in the previous section.

Once the full rotation for Iuno is complete and the Full-Moon Domain is ready, you can then switch to Augusta. At this stage, complete your Augusta rotations, deal as much damage as possible, and then switch back to Shorekeeper.

Iuno Jiyan Team

Iuno works exceptionally well with Jiyan since she provides a 50 percent Heavy ATK damage buff through her Outro Skill. This team will also comprise Jiyan, Iuno, and Shoreekper.

The initial rotation with Shorekeeper will be the same as Augusta’s team, but when you switch to Iuno, focus on the rotation for other characters, as mentioned in the previous section. Complete the rotation and switch to Jiyan, who will deal very high damage due to the massive Heavy ATK damage buff.

As a final note, Iuno can also be considered viable if you want to pair her with Jinhsi’s best build in Wuthering Waves. However, Jinhsi doesn’t take advantage of Iuno’s buffs as effectively as Jiyan or Augusta.

Is Iuno Worth Pulling?

Yes, Iuno is worth pulling, and it’s highly recommended that you do so. She can heal party members, provide the highest damage buff from her Outro skill than any character, and deal heavy damage.

Iuno primarily functions with Augusta and Jiyan, but if you want, you can slot her in any team you like; she’s just that good. While you won’t be able to use the Outro buffs, her personal damage and heals can amplify the performance of any party.

When it comes to Wuthering Waves‘ endgame, Whimpering Wastes and Tower of Adversity feature some relatively easy-to-beat monsters on rotation. However, if you have been struggling to clear these challenges, Iuno will offer a massive advantage.

The only issue you’ll face is that she doesn’t have weapon options easily accessible to free-to-play accounts. Apart from that, she is easy to play, despite Iuno’s kit being difficult to understand at first glance. Invest in her weapon banner, and you will have a very strong unit at your disposal.
