EA and Codemasters are leading the charge for the new WRC games, and it is their first rally venture since DiRT Rally 2.0. The new cover star and car has already been revealed as the excitement is building for the game. Finnish driver Kalle Rovanpera will feature on the cover in his Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 Hybrid, as he showed off on social media prior to the official reveal. WRC release date
EA Sports WRC released on October 31, 2023. As with most EA titles, the game came with a three-day early access period available to fans who pre-order the game. Players who pre-ordered WRC also received five VIP Rally Passes for additional post-launch content, livery, and apparel packs.
The game is only available on next-gen consoles. This means that only players on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will be able to access the game. PC players will also be able to join in the action via the EA App, Epic Store, and Steam.
