Will Hogwarts Legacy Have Romance? Unfortunately no!

With Hogwarts Legacy coming out, many fans question whether the game will allow you to develop intimate relationships and feature romantic scenes or if it will all be filled with action. Is there Romance in Hogwarts Legacy?

At the time of writing, the game’s developers have not confirmed whether you will be able to romance any character in the game so unfortunately it seems that you won’t be able to form romance on the game.

However, it has been confirmed that you will be able to interact and form friendly relationships with other students. 

Furthermore, since most fans of Hogwarts Legacy are young wizards and witches, the discussion of whether or not it would be appropriate to have romance has also been raised within the community. For that reason, it is much more likely for the game to have tame romantic relationships, like asking someone to a Hogsmeade date, rather than displaying any explicit scenes.

Hogwarts Legacy PEGI Rating

Speculations aside, what we can confirm is that Hogwarts Legacy will be having a PEGI Rating of 12+. According to the PEGI guidelines, a rating of 12+ is awarded to games that show violence of a slightly more graphic nature towards fantasy characters, or non-realistic violence towards human-like characters would fall in this age category. 

Not only that, but the rating also confirms that sexual innuendo or sexual posturing can also be a part of the game. Plus, any bad language featured in Hogwarts Legacy will be mild. To sum this up, the game is appropriate to play for anyone older than 12 years.

Can you make friends in Hogwarts Legacy?

While developing romantic relationships in the game has not yet been confirmed, you will be able to befriend different characters in the game by interacting with them. Once you have developed your relationship to a certain extent, you can even ask that character to accompany you on a quest in the game. 

Moreover, you will acquire different abilities based on the character you have befriended and have brought along. This will be a significant mechanism as Hogwarts Legacy will be full of different characters, each with their own specialty. Getting to know and befriend the right character can make side quests and adventures significantly easier for you.

Hogwarts Legacy has a wide variety of characters that will be a part of the game. Players will have the choice to interact with these characters in order to develop platonic relationships with them. However, the development of romantic relationships has not yet been confirmed by the game’s developers and remains a matter of speculation.
