Movement and perks

These are all the buffs and nerfs for player movement and perks in Season 5.

  • Bomb Squad buff: This perk will now protect players from death by explosive equipment stuck directly to the player if they are fully armoured (Warzone only).
  • Jump buff: Slightly decreased the landing reduction penalty when landing.
  • Jump buff: Slightly increased lateral velocity when jumping.
  • Quick Fix buff (QoL): Added visual cues when attacking with Quick Fix active.
  • Quick Fix buff (QoL): Health regeneration starting will now show when entering an objective with the perk equipped.
  • Slide buff: Decreased slide time and increased slide velocity, greatly buffing the movement sliding offers.
  • Slide Buff: Decreased time between slide animation finishing and players being able to fire.

Equipment

These are all the buffs and nerfs to different pieces of equipment in Season 5.

  • Drill Charge buff: Reduced damage from drilling when a player is using a Drill Charge, creating more opportunity for death from explosion.
  • Recon Drone buff (QoL): Recon Drone’s healthbar now updates each time the drone is accessed.
  • Tactical Camera buff (QoL): Removed audio distortion when failing to use a camera.
MW2 Season 5 buffs and nerfs: A squad of soldiers are airdropped into a battlefield punctuated by Japanese fauna and architecture.

Weapons

These are all of the buffs and nerfs for various weapons in Season 5. This buff concerns assault rifles, battle rifles, LMGs and SMGs.

  • BAS-P buff: Maximum damage range increased. Neck and torso damage multipliers increased.
  • Chimera buff: Close-mid range damage increased.
  • Cronen Squall buff: Minimum and maximum damage increased and torso, limb and neck damage multipliers increased.
  • Fennec 45 buff: Maximum damage increased.
  • HCR 56 nerf: Limb damage multiplier decreased.
  • Lachman Sub nerf: Maximum damage range decreased. Close-mid range damage decreased.
  • M13B buff: Headshot multiplier increased.
  • MX9 buff: Close-mid range damage increased, neck and torso damage multipliers increased.
  • Minibak nerf and buff: Damage step added for mid-far range. Minimum damage decreased. Headshot damage multiplier increased.
  • RAAL MG buff: Headshot damage multiplier increased.
  • VEL-46 buff: Neck and torso damage multipliers increased.
