Main story chapters

  • Chapter 1 – Some Serious Beeswax

  • Chapter 10 – A Great Inspiration

Some of the chapters, especially the early ones are extremely short, but they grow in length as the game progresses. For example, chapter 1 Some Serious Beeswax should take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete, if that. On the other hand, chapter 9 The Magnificent Humgrump is the longest by a considerable margin at roughly 1-2 hours and takes the story to its climax along with some fun mini-games and thrilling fights.

The Plucky Squire doesn’t feature any optional quests or side content. It’s all about the main story. However, the game is peppered with two collectible types – Glitchbirds and Art Scrolls – which will most likely require replaying chapters to find them all. Some are fantastically well hidden in the game’s mostly linear levels and you’ll likely miss a few first time around.
