Glitchbirds are one of the two collectibles players can seek out in The Plucky Squire. They are little critters that look like a mix between a bear and turnip. They are quite shy and tend to hide away behind bushes, trees, and even in hidden areas. There are a total of 10 to find.

We’ll walk you through where you’ll find the Glitchbird locations across all 10 chapters, which are different to the Art Scroll locations. We’re still tracking down the last few, so this is a work in progress and we’ll update as and when we find the last couple little guys.

Glitchbird 1

Found on the road to Tome Tower in Inkwood chapter 2, hidden behind a rock and some bushes to the top left of the right-hand page.

Glitchbird 2

Found on the Inkwood path to Tome Tower in chapter 2, specifically the pages where you first meet the monsters that spawn from electricity bolts. The Glitchbird in hidden behind the larger rock near the top of the right-hand page.

Glitchbird 3

Grab this one in Jot’s house when you retrieve Moonbeard’s drink from his house during chapter 3. Jot’s house is just to the left of Moonbeard’s home.

Glitchbird 4

After finding Umber’s pigs in Artia in chapter 5, enter the castle. Head to the top left of the left-hand page to find the Glitchbird in a doorway next to a guard. You’ll need to enter through the hole in the wall above the doorway.

Glitchbird 5

Found during chapter 7 after Tumba joins the gang. You’ll come to a blocked bridge guarded by enemies. Use the portal on the left to go 3D, then Bomb Stamp the block in the far left-hand corner. The Glitchbird is hiding behind the block.

Glitchbirds emit a slight sparkle, even when hidden, so keep an eye out for it to make spotting them easier.

Glitchbird 6

Found during chapter 8, just before entering the castle. After the dialogue from the robed figure, run to the left to find the Glitchbird by the last tree.

Glitchbird 7

Found at the start of chapter 9. After reuniting with Pip, head into the control room then continue left into the darkness to find the Glitchbird.

Glitchbird 8

Found during chapter 8. When you arrive and enter the Palace of Humgrump after exiting the jail, you’ll come to the throne room, which is now full of pipes. Head to the right and you’ll spot a dome with a valve and spout. The Glitchbird is hiding behind it as marked by a small sparkle.
