How to upgrade The Last of Us 2 Remastered on PS5
To upgrade your digital PS4 edition of The Last of Us 2 to the Remastered PS5 version, you will need to pay a fee of $10 via the PlayStation Store. You’ll be able to purchase the upgrade on the release date itself via the game’s PlayStation Store page.
Alternatively, if you have a physical copy of the game, you will need to own a PS5 with a disc drive to avail of the upgrade. After you purchase the remaster, you will then need to insert your The Last of Us 2 PS4 disc into your console each time you want to play the sequel, so be careful not to misplace or lose your copy.
