- Press the buttons in this order: Ticker, Buzzer, and Clunker.
- To complete this quest, press the button on the left across the gap first. Then go to the right side and jump up to the the object. Finally, climb up the crane to get the last one.
- This will free Digger and is part of the Plan to Clean the Earth quest.
As you explore the Wasteland outside of Xion, you might come across a little robot called Digger (D1G-g2r) in the Scrap Yard section of the map in the northeast of the Wasteland. He gives you a quest in Stellar Blade, but all he tells you is to press the Ticker, Buzzer, and Clunker to solve it. This quest simply requires you to interact with three objects in the right order, but it is very unclear what that order is based on that information. To solve the Ticker, Buzzer, Clunker puzzle in the Plan to Clean the Earth mission in Stellar Blade, simply interact with the left-most object first, then go to the right of the area and jump up to interact with the second object, and then return to the centre and climb the crane to interact with the final objective. We’ve annotated the images below in this gallery to better illustrate the order.

The Ticker is the first one you want to press. Use the crate to grab the ledge and swing across. Image taken by VideoGamer
Buzzer is the second one to do. It is found to the right. Move the box to get higher up and jump to the next ledge. Image taken by VideoGamer

If done correctly, the crane will move and Digger will be free from his trapped predicament. If you happen to get the order wrong, the objectives will reset and you will have to press them all again in the correct order. After you free Digger, he will become a vendor and the quest will be complete.
How to start Plan to Clean the Earth mission
When you enter the Wasteland from Xion, follow the path past the supply camp and keep going to the left when you can. There will be a gap in the canyon and you will enter an area filled with droid enemies. As you progress here, EVE will get a transmission from a robotic voice and Adam encourages you to take a look. If you look at your map, you can see there is a purple smiley face in the top right of it; this is where you need to go. Follow the path to Digger’s Scrap Yard and talk to him here.
