The Recruit Passcode Specialists mission in Stellar Blade involves tracking down a six-digit passcode to open a locked container in the Wasteland. Sadly, knowing the code doesn’t help you get into the locked container since you need to pick up each piece of the code from shrines dotted about the world. To get through Stellar Blade’s Recruit Passcode Specialist, our guide covers all shrine locations and the passcode to complete the quest.
How to start Recruit Passcode Specialists in Stellar Blade
To start the Recruit Passcode Specialists mission in Stellar Blade, you need to first buy a Data item from Roxanne called the Wasteland Prayer. After this, you will be able to grab the quest from the bulletin board. Afterwards, you can find one of seven Prayers ‘Chapter of the Trial’ documents, the first typically being from Matrix 11. Once you’ve picked up one, this will trigger the quest to appear on the request board in Xion. If the quest is not showing for you, make sure you have bought the Wasteland Prayer data from Roxanne and reached Matrix 11.
While the request tasks you with something that might sound simple enough, completing the quest is a long slog and anything but simple. The mission in question asks you to unlock a shipping container in the Wasteland, but finding the code is no mean feat. You will need a six-digit code, the parts of which are spread around various areas in the game in the form of small shrines.
Check your progress in the Data Bank
You may have picked some of these items up already. If you want to check which ones you have, press start and go to the Data tab. When you pick one up, these will appear in your Data Bank in the Prayers section and they are called Chapter of Trial.
There are two shrines in the Wasteland, one in Matrix 11, and two in the Great Desert. You need to find all six to get the code before you can enter it into the terminal. Sadly, knowing the code doesn’t help until you get them all in-game.
Recruit Passcode Specialists shrine locations in Stellar Blade
This is where you can find all the shrines needed to complete the Recruit Passcode Specialists in Stellar Blade. This will require you to travel to Matrix 11, the Great Desert, and the Wasteland.

Matrix 11 – Chapter of Trial 1-β
Once you’ve beaten the Stalker boss in Matrix 11, you will eventually come to an underground dwelling. You can reach this area by fast travelling to the Rail Yard supply camp. This is the natural path through the level and once you get here, climb up the ladder in front. There will be an entrance at the top and a shrine with candles. Interact with the shrine and you will get the first prayer, Chapter of Trial 1-β.
Great Desert – Chapter of Trial 2-θ
After you’ve reached the Great Desert, head to the northeast corner of the map. There will be ruined buildings in the way and you should be able to see the shrine on the second floor. Enter the ruined building, jump up to the shrine, and interact with it to get the second digit of the code, Chapter of Trial 2-θ. Alternatively, fast travel to the Buried Ruins Outskirt supply camp and head straight north.
Great Desert – Chapter of Trial 3-α
In the southern section of the Great Desert, you should travel to the Way to the Solar Tower supply camp. From this camp, make your way to the north. As you go, you should see a path on your left that leads to a ruined building between the canyon, while there is a broken road on your right. Take the left path into the building and you should see the shrine on your right. Pick up the Chapter of Trial 3-α here.
Great Desert – Chapter of Trial 4-λ
On the western side of the Great Desert, there is an old passageway called the Hypertube. It is a massive cylindrical tube that you can use to get from one end of the desert to the other. Go through the tube and you will be spat out into a pool of water. Swim to the right and you will find the shrine on a ledge. Pick up the Chapter of Trial 4-λ here.
The Wasteland – Chapter of Trial 5-δ
Fast travel to the Western Great Canyon supply camp in the Wasteland. Run directly east from the camp and then go slightly to the left to find the shrine hidden under a little shelf, in a small crevice. This is the fifth prayer, Chapter of Trial 5-δ.
The Wasteland – Chapter of Trial 6-ζ
Fast travel to the supply camp by Altess Levoire in the Wasteland. From here, go east through the gates towards the elevator you used to first get down here. From the elevator, go to the left and follow the path around until you come to a left and right turn. Go to the right and you will see the shrine nestled under the rocks in a little crevice.
Recruiting Passcode Specialists code and rewards
Now you have all the digits for the passcode, follow the quest marker to the west side of the Wasteland and go into the destroyed ship. Head to the right and find the locked shipping container. Interact with the terminal and input the code, which is the digit following the first six Chapters you’ve picked up: βθαλδζ. The box will open and inside you will find your reward: the La Vie en Rose Nano Suit along with another document called Chapter of Salvation 0-Ω. With that, you have gathered all chapter of trial documents and completed the recruit passcode specialists side quest.
