In the western portion of the Imperial Forward Base is a standalone building guarded by several imperial troopers. Approach the console next to the door and you’ll be prompted to use the Vault Code to get inside and loot the contents of the building. However, there’s not much to go on here with no indication about where to find the code. We’ll walk you through how to get the Imperial Forward Base Vault code. While you’re in the compound, it’s also worth completing the steps for The Slicer expert quest to get the slicing kit, which you’ll need to hack certain doors and computers.
Imperial Forward Base Vault Code location
You’ll find the Vault Code on a computer at the top of the tower building in the southeast of the Imperial Forward Base. Approach the compound from the northwest to find a path up into the rocks. Press on up, climb the walls, then grapple across to the catwalk that runs around the edge of the compound. Take a right (south) and make your way through the covered corridor, taking out the guards and avoiding the camera as you go.
Once you get out in the open, make your way to the door at the foot of the tower. The area is heavily guarded, so use stealth, explosive canisters, and sabotage panels to clear a path. Once inside, take a left and grapple down then take a right into a large chamber full of speeders and two guards. Clear out the guards, then hack the computer next to the elevator door to remove the red laser barrier. Ride the elevator up.
At the top, head into the room and interact with the computer to the left of the big window at the back. You’ll need to complete the slicing mini game, then you can transfer the data, which includes the Vault Code. This also triggers an Intel quest aptly called Vault Code.
The computer will also start the Confidential Data Intel. To complete the quest, head to the catwalk above the entrance to the compound and hack the terminal there.
Head back to the vault and use the code to open the door. Inside, there’s a chest you can loot to get the Blaster Recirculator blaster material and Sentinel Coating blaster coating along with valuables. There’s also a console you can hack for 1000 credits.
