In the north of the Wild Island region and next to the Waste Processing Station, is a small brick building with an iron gate securely locked by a key pad. Try as you might to inspect every inch of the hut, there doesn’t seem to be any helpful etchings, notes, or other clues to crack the code. There aren’t any loose slabs to slash with your knife or secret entrances to discover. The place is locked up tight. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to open the Wild Island Waste Processing Station Tucked-Away Stash in Stalker 2.
How to get the Waste Processing Station door code
The code to open the Tucked-Away Stash in Wild Island is 2711. To figure it out, stand in the doorway of the building. Straight ahead, you’ll spot an abandoned bus with a triangular symbol etched in white on the back. This symbol pops up throughout the Zone and typically signals that a puzzle clue is nearby.
Enter the bus through the back door (the one closest to the stash building). You’ll see numbers written in white on the back of most of the seats. If you look at the seats themselves, you’ll spot that a few of them have reels of film on them. These are crucial to solving the puzzle and getting the code. Starting from the back of the bus, the seats with reels have the numbers 2, 7, 1, and 1 on their backs – the code to use on the keypad to unlock the gate.
Head back to the stash building, type 2711 into the keypad, and tap the green Enter button to unlock the gate. Inside the small room, you’ll find an Aeroprotection Gas Mask and a stash containing ammo, medkits, bread, water, bandages, and Cossacks Vodka. Other than the gas mask it’s not much to write home about – no artifacts or weapons to sell for profit.
