Wondering if you can play South Park: Snow Day solo? With a new 3D version of the town and co-op battles in store, players want to know if they can experience this offline without friends tagging along.

For more on the game, read about its crossplay support and check our South Park: Snow Day preorder guide.

Can you play South Park: Snow Day solo

Yes, you can play South Park: Snow Day solo but with AI companions. While this might not appeal to all the lone wolves who prefer taking challenges solo, these allies will aid you in combat. Regardless of how many players join up for a game, the rest of the four-player squad will be filled with AI companions.

This might be a bummer for players who enjoyed the earlier South Park RPGs like Stick of Truth and Fractured but Whole. Those were single-player games that focused on storytelling and are longer compared to Snow Day.

Can you play South Park: Snow Day offline with bots

Yes, simply playing the game without opting for matchmaking will fill your team with bots. They can heal and revive you or dish out damage against your opponents. Don’t expect them to be customizable though.

That covers if you can play the game solo without friends or randoms. Stay tuned for more in-depth coverage as we near the South Park: Snow Day release date this March.
