All Prince of Persia The Lost Crown sand jar locations – Prophecy of Mount Qaf

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Prophecy of Mount Qaf tasks you with tracking down spirited sand jar locations in the nooks and crannies of the towering citadel. There are 30 sand jars to find in total. For every one you find, you can return to the mural in the Lower City to get a variety of rewards. For every five, you’ll be rewarded with items like Soma Petals or weapon upgrade resources.

Hyrcanian Forest 1

In a small alcove in the north west of the Hyrcanian Forest not far from where the forest meets the Lower City.

Hyrcanian Forest 2

In the south of the Hyrcanian Forest, below the westernmost Wak-Wak Tree. Look for a secret door you can open by attacking it after you drop down from the tree. Follow the path down and you’ll find the jar on a ledge before the tunnel’s exit.

Sacred Archives 1

In the prison. Head as far right as you can, climb up, then destroy a board covering a crawl space. Head through and down to find the jar perched on a ledge in the top left.

Sacred Archives 2

Northeast of the Sacred Archives, just below the northernmost Wak-Wak Tree and the Temple of Knowledge fast travel spot. Use Clairvoyance to get down then slide through the crawl space to find the jar.

Sacred Archives 3

In the very east of the Sacred Archives, just southeast of the easternmost Wak-Wak Tree. Use Clairvoyance to make it through the platforming section to find the jar at the end.

Sacred Archives 4

Northwest of the Sacred Archives fast travel spot. Make your way up the elevator shaft and hop right to find the jar on a ledge.

The Depths 1

Southeast of The Depths and southeast of The Scrapper Xerxes shop.

The Depths 2

Just northwest of the Shallows fast travel point and the nearby Wak-Wak Tree. Head upwards then to the left down the water channel and up again, wrapping round to the east to find the jar.

The Depths 3

In the southeast part of the Depths not far from the border with the Sunken Harbor. Look for a small opening in the wall that you can slide through to find the jar.

Sunken Harbor 1

North west of the Sunken Harbor. In a small room hidden in the shaft of the elevator above the Pirate Village fast travel point.

Sunken Harbor 2

In the southeast of the Sunken Harbor, just below the pirate ship. Move to the bottom of the area with the ship, then jump down. You’ll need to fight a giant grab before you can reach the jar, which is on a ledge in the far right of the chamber.

Sunken Harbor 3

In the west of the Sunken Harbor, northwest of the Pirate Village fast travel point. Climb to the top of the shaft with the hanging spiked logs to find a small alcove with the jar. You’ll need Gravity Wings to make it up.

Soma Tree 1

Just north of the arena where you fight the Forest Queen and the Soma Tree fast travel spot. There’s a fairly tough platforming section to reach the jar.

Soma Tree 2

Near enough in the centre of the Soma Tree area, just northeast of the Soma Tree fast travel point. Head up, dodging the purple brambles as you go to find the jar sitting on a ledge.

Soma Tree 3

South of the Forest Ruins fast travel spot. Head down and east then look for a hidden wall on your right. Head through, down and left to find the jar

Pit of Eternal Sands 1

In the far west of the Pit of Eternal Sands. Make your way through the maze hopping between sand columns and avoiding the giant caterpillars. In the top left of the area is a breakable wall. Go through to find the jar.

Pit of Eternal Sands 2

In the east of the Eternal Sands and near the Wak-Wak Tree that’s due east of the Sealed Lair fast travel spot. The jar can only be reached once you’ve unlocked the Gravity Wings power at the end of ‘The Darkest of Souls’ main quest. Reaching the platform where the jar is can be tricky – use a combination of Gravity Wings and Shadow of the Simurgh to make your way across the spikes.

Pit of Eternal Sands 3

In the area above the Sealed Lair, which is represented on the map as a sort of city. You need to drop down to the level below then head left to destroy a hidden wall. Go through and up to find the jar.

Upper City 1

In the chamber just above the planetarium. You’ll need to trigger the levers on either side of the central building to unlock the doors to the room with the jar.

Upper City 2

In the northeast of the Upper City, in the chamber above the room with the hanging cylinders.

Upper City 3

In the large area directly south of the one where you have the Day Temple. Head to the far right and jump up the wall to a small ledge. Aim your bow at a gap in the ceiling and use Shadow of the Simurgh to teleport up. The jar is on your right near the edge.

Raging Sea 1

In the area above The Holds fast travel point. Climb up by jumping on the jellyfish, then head right down and back on yourself but under the structure using walls to dash and double jump.

Tower of Silence 1

In the northern part of the Tower of Silence, just southeast of the Tomb Entrance fast travel point. Use the ropes and Fabric of Time to reach a hidden ledge.

Tower of Silence 2

In the east of the northernmost part of the Tower of Silence, roughly southeast of the Tomb Entrance fast travel spot. You’ll find a shaft with ice balls tumbling down it. Time your drop right to avoid taking damage then dash into a small opening on your left to find the jar.

Tower of Silence 3

In the southeast of the Temple of Silence and west of the easternmost Wak-Wak Tree. There’s a downward path with falling icy boulders. Follow it down and hop into the area on your right. Fight of the giant. Go as far east as possible then jump up and you’ll find a secret tunnel leading west. Set up Shadow of the Simurgh then pull the slab and teleport to reach the jar on the other side.

Lower City 1

South of the Haven. Use Shadow of the Simurgh and a charged bow attack to get through the gate, then head down and right to find the jar.

Lower City 2

In the southwest of the Lower City, not far from where you start the game. Look for a path down just before the Old Royal Road and use Shadow of the Simurgh to get through the gate. Press on east and you’ll find the jar in a small room you can access by floor dashing.

Lower City 3

Roughly in the middle of the Lower City, east of the Scholar’s Area fast travel spot. Look out for spike pits, jump down and go left to find the secret area housing the jar.

Lower City 4

In the chamber just below the Haven. From the Wak-Wak Tree head down and west into a room full of rotating spikes. You’ll need to complete a fairly easy platforming section to reach the jar, which shouldn’t be any trouble if you’ve got gravity wings.

Hidden Village 1

In the far east of the map and near the top of the tower in the Hidden Village. You’ll need to grab an exploding fruit and bring it up with you to break through the stones and reach the jar.

Find all the Prince of Persia The Lost Crown sand jar locations and bring them back to the mural to complete the Prophecy of Mount Qaf.
