Want to know how to catch Suicune in Pokemon Indigo Disk? The Water-type Legendary Dog that first appeared way back in the Johto games has hit Pokemon Scarlet and Violet with the latest DLC, and we’re here to tell you what you need to know when it comes to finding and catching it for yourself.

To prepare for your encounter with Suicune, make sure you know how to find Snacksworth in Pokemon Indigo Disk. And take a look at all the other Pokemon Indigo Disk Legendary Pokemon to make a return too. With that, let’s go through Suicune’s location in Pokemon Indigo Disk and how to catch it.

How to catch Suicune in Pokemon Indigo Disk

Before you run off looking for it, you should know that Suicune is only available in Pokemon Scarlet. If you’re playing on Pokemon Violet, you’ll be unable to get it in your game without trading for it. To unlock the encounter with Suicune, you need to talk to Snacksworth after completing the DLC and 10 BBQs. He will give you a random Treat item, with the chance to receive a Suicune Treat. Once you have this, Suicune will be available to catch.

Suicune can be found on the middle-left island in Casseroya Lake, in the northwest of Paldea. The easiest way to get here is by flying to the large island in the centre of the lake, and then simply riding Koraidon directly west until you reach the island. Once you’re there, just climb on shore and you’ll find Suicune waiting for you.

Before you battle it, make sure to save as you only get one chance to catch it. Suicune will be at Level 70 when you battle it, so make sure to bring along some suitably strong Pokemon to take it on. Like any Legendary, we recommend bringing a Pokemon that knows False Swipe to get it down to 1HP, as well as a Pokemon that can put it to sleep such as a Toedscruel with Spore.

Hopefully with all that you’ll have no trouble catching Suicune for yourself. For some more DLC guides, check out how to get BP points in Pokemon Indigo Disk as well as all the Pokemon Indigo Disk starters that have returned to the game.
