Want to know how to use the Pokemon Fusion Generator? With Nintendo’s ever-popular pocket monsters franchise containing a vast array of unique and colorful creatures, a fan-made app revolving around the endless combinations of Pokemon was seemingly inevitable.

But since the aptly named Pokemon Fusion Generator isn’t precisely an official creation, learning how to use it is slightly more complicated than finding out how to get and farm Herba Mystica or how to get to Area Zero in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Fortunately, we’re here to show you precisely what you need to do so you can start combining Pokemon to your heart’s content.

How do you use the Pokemon Fusion Generator?

To use the Pokemon Fusion Generator, head to the app’s official site and press the flashing Fuse button found on the home page. As soon as you do, two random Pokemon will be chosen and combined, and the result will immediately be shown in the middle of the window.

If you want to choose two different creatures to fuse, press either of the two icons found on the upper left and upper right side of the panel. This will bring up a drop-down list of all the Pokemon that have been introduced from Gen 1 to Gen 8. After you’ve selected the ones you’d like to see merge, press the blue Fuse button once again to start the process.

If you want to see what the hypothetical Pokemon’s evolution would look like, then press the Evolve button on the lower right side of the window. As soon as you tap it, the screen will start flashing, and the typical music for Pokemon evolutions will begin playing in the background. Based on the creatures we’d chosen to combine, each fusion has its own unique sprite. This means you’ll also get an idea of what your chosen combination will look like.
