The new Mythic skin for Season 8 of Overwatch 2 is called Grand Beast Orisa. The tank hero gains tusks, a large horn on her head, and different color palettes to choose from. These colors include the base color, blue, red, and purple. There are also two weapon variations to choose from.
Players got their first look at the new skin through a video post from the official Overwatch Twitter, that showed off the skin for the first time. Some fans were not happy about the skin’s resemblance to another skin of Orisa’s, the Dynastinae and Megasoma skins. However, the ability to customize this skin is a huge factor. As with other Mythic skins, this skin for Orisa will also change the visuals for her Ultimate. The skin will also alter several of the ability sound effects.
Blizzard also got into some trouble for the lack of customization options available with Season 7’s Mythic for Hanzo, so hopefully the amount of options for Grand Beast Orisa will satisfy fans.
Eight to choose from
With the addition of Grand Beast Orisa, there are now eight Mythic skins in total available in Overwatch 2. These include Cyber Demon Genji, Zeus Junker Queen, Amaterasu Kiriko, Galactic Emperor Sigma, Adventurer Tracer, A-7000 Wargod Ana, and Onryō Hanzo.
How to get Grand Beast Orisa Mythic skin
In order to obtain the Mythic skin, players will need to reach tier 80 of the Premium Battle Pass. This is the same method as previous Mythic skins. These skins are the rarest type in the game, so they’re supposed to be hard to get. Grand Beast Orisa serves as the final prize for completing the Premium Battle Pass.
To get this skin, you’re going to need to spend a lot of time grinding. Working through the full 80 tiers of the Season 8 Battle Pass is not going to be quick, but it can be done. Plus, with the new battle pass letting you unlock previous Mythic skins, it’s all the more worth it.
