NBA 2K24 has introduced the Mexico City Game Challenge. This year, the Atlanta Hawks and Orlando Magic are going to meet in Mexico City for a matchup as the NBA continues to push for making the league a global brand. It’s just the 32nd game in Mexico in NBA history. As with most major events in the NBA, you can benefit in NBA 2K. Here’s how.
What is the NBA 2K24 Mexico City Game Challenge?
The Mexico City Game Challenge in NBA 2K24 is simple: win a Triple Threat Challenge in MyTEAM by getting to 21 points. The only stipulation is that you have to make three dunks with a single player. If you do that, you’ll earn an 88 OVR Ruby Juan Toscano-Anderson card for your roster. NBA 2K24 officially announced the event on X.
This is the latest in a line of themed events and challenges that 2K has done and will continue to do. They haven’t been dropping many locker codes for events, but MyTEAM continues to get new cards added and milestones are marked in the game mode.
This is not a permanent event, though. The schedule suggests that this promotion lasts just 24 hours. Thus, you need to go ahead and get into NBA 2K24 MyTEAM mode and try to complete this challenge as soon as possible. The Toscano-Anderson card will not be available forever.
Doing this can be challenging, as dunking three times in one game with a single player isn’t something that happens all that often. You have to focus and may need a few attempts to both win the game and slam it in with a player from your lineup, so the more time you have, the better.
That’s all for NBA 2K24’s Mexico City Game Challenge, but be sure to check out when Season 3 starts, how to play the in-season tournament, and how to instantly become a 99 overall.
