Monster Hunter Rise has a variety of weapons that you craft after hunting down your prey, but very few weapons can maintain their uniqueness after crafting. Hammers do not suffer from this and sport some of the game’s most unique designs. Few things are more satisfying than bashing Monsters with their own scales and tails.

This guide will cover the 7 best Hammer Weapons you can find and use in Monster Hunter Rise.

7 Best Hammers In Monster Hunter Rise

Note that all these weapons are meant to be used in the late to endgame after you can clear 6* and higher Hub Quests.

7) Huracan Hammer

Derived from the fearsome Rathalos, this Rarity 6 Hammer maintains the Rathalos’ design elegantly. The weapon has some great offensive stats with a 210 base Attack and 34 Fire damage on top. Surprisingly, the weapon also comes with a base Affinity value of 5%, meaning you can spec into a build supporting both Fire and Affinity damage for some serious beatdowns.

The Abyssal Storm Mauler will electrify anything in your path with a solid base Attack of 200 and a whopping 49 Thunder damage. Not to mention the access to Rampage Skills such as Attack Boost III to increase these numbers even further. This weapon is exceptionally powerful against monster weak to Thunder.

However, it has 230 base damage and 20 Ice Element damage. While the low blue affinity isn’t impressive, the level 2 decoration slot makes up for it, and with the right slots, you can use this weapon for one of the most devastating Ice Hammer builds available in Monster Hunter Rise.

4) Tigrex Hammer

The Tigrex Hammer is one of the best Hammer options for you if you don’t find Affinity builds appealing. The weapon provides raw 220 Damage at a Rarity of 6 while sporting a White Sharpness. The White Sharpness is quite important as very few Hammers can reach it. With the right Attack buff focused build, the Tigrex will provide you with raw damage numbers that most weapons cannot match.

While it does have a -20% Affinity, with enough buffs, you can work your way around to making a consistent Affinity build for this weapon too.

The Diamalto’s Dream is a Rarity 7 weapon boasting 5 Rampage Slots and a unique design based on the Chameleos. With a strong Attack of 200 coupled with 32 in Poison-type damage, this weapon will burn through your opponent’s HP extremely quickly.

The low White Sharpness and 0% Affinity should not be an issue either, as at this point in the game, players will have access to enough tools to completely mitigate these downsides.
