You can extend this by exploring the area and unlocking weapons in Open Combat Missions. The original Modern Warfare 3 (2011) provided players with a six-hour story runtime, in line with most Call of Duty campaigns. The franchise’s longest campaign remains Black Ops 3, which takes most players around 9-10 hours to complete, as opposed to other games in the series that typically offer a 6-7 hour campaign.

Payload	Captain Price infiltrates a base to find the stolen missiles but ends up trying to sabotage their launch instead.
Deep Cover	Laswell sneaks into the Admin Building to meet Yuri and gets caught in an attack.
Passenger	Samara finds herself on a hijacked plane.
Crash Site	Farah prevents the ULF from being framed by rushing to the crashed Russian Airliner, now guarded by the enemy.
Flashpoint	A flashback sequence of Captain Price defending Verdansk from a terror attack.
Oligarch	Soap and Ghost infiltrate a private island to find out who’s supplying Makarov.
Highrise	Price and Gaz assault a Konni safehouse and fight Nolan. This mission takes place in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Frozen Tundra	Expect a surprise guest on your hunt for Makarov.
Gora Dam	Ghost must prevent a catastrophe by finding the bombs planted within the dam.
Danger Close	Neutralize a chemical weapon with the help of an airship.
Trojan Horse	Follow a target and obtain a flash drive from a suspicious individual.
Countdown	Disarm a bomb planted in a subway tunnel and finally face Makarov.

Is it worth finishing the campaign?

Finishing the campaign gives you multiplayer rewards like Operators, Calling Cards, XP Tokens, and Blueprints. Campaign rewards will give you a headstart in the race to prestige, with tokens making it easier to level up. You’ll also learn about the fate of important characters like Captain Price, Soap, and Laswell.
