All MW3 free items and how to redeem

As has often been the case with past CoD games, Activision is giving away a few goodies to players, so here are all of the free MW3 items and how to unlock them. Previous promo prices included cosmetics such as emblems and calling cards.

However, a couple of Double XP Tokens are also up for grabs to make the level grind a little more bearable. If you want to know what the free MW3 items are and how you can unlock them, we’ve covered everything you need to know below.

All free MW3 items you can get

Here are the free items available in MW3:

• Grab the Popcorn (Calling Card)
• Lightning Rod (Weapon Blueprint)
• You Dropped This (Camo Blueprint)
• War Track (WSOW Theme)
• Double Digits (Emblem)
• Four hours of Double XP Tokens
• Four hours of Double Weapon XP Tokens

Though fancy new cosmetics are always a nice freebie to have, the highlight of this particular promo is the four (!!) hours of Double XP and Double Weapon XP Tokens you can get. If you’re planning on logging in a hardcore session of CoD, this will be the perfect complement to your run since it will cut down the amount of time it takes to reach the MW3 max level cap.

War Track WSOW Theme does not carry over

The War Track WSOW Theme included with this promo unfortunately doesn’t carry over to MW3. You’ll only be able to hear it in MW2 after you redeem the code.

How to unlock free MW3 items

To unlock free MW3 items, you’ll need to do the following:

1. Log in to your account on the official Call of Duty website.
2. Head to the Call of Duty Redeem Code page.
3. Type or paste this code into the designated field: 559Q-RXGN4-JZPP
4. Hit “Submit” and enjoy your freebies!

If you’re wondering which game the rewards will be available on, that’s not a cause for worry. These goodies can be used in both Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3, so you won’t have to worry about using them on either instalment. Some fans have also reportedly been able to redeem it twice, meaning you can enjoy EIGHT hours of Double XP and Double Weapon XP boosts.

How to fix free MW3 items code not working

If you redeemed the code and an error message is popping up, you aren’t the only one experiencing this issue. Based on the comments below Call of Duty: Warzone News’ post, many have been unable to get the rewards included in this promo after entering and submitting the code.

Though the reason for this remains unclear, some are saying that the code has already been deactivated by Activision after an hour of making it available. We’ve also tried redeeming the code ourselves but encountered the error message immediately, so this may indeed be the case for those of us who were too late to the party.

Don’t get too down in the dumps, though, because Activision often drops several promos throughout the course of the year, meaning it should only be a matter of time until you can get more freebies.
