Marvel Snap has just launched its latest pool. We’ve gone over our thoughts on the best cards in Pool 3, alongside the full Series 3 Tier List.

Compared to Series 1 and 2, collecting all of the cards in the third pool takes a long time. There’s good reason for that, though. The fundamentals of Marvel Snap are ever-changing, and the latest batch of cards will change the game’s meta entirely.

While it’s not going to be easy collecting everything in the game, there’s no harm in prioritizing certain cards over others, and our tiered list for Series 3 will help you cut through the noise.

Marvel Snap Series 3 Tier List: What are the best cards in Pool 3?

While the recent Marvel Snap Spotlight Cache brought with it new cards, nerfs, and buffs, nothing is as devastating to the game meta than a new pool. Let’s have a look at our selection of cards, which we’ve ranked in order.

Shadow King

Shadow King has the infinitely annoying ability to reset other cards to their original Power on its reveal. Cards like this have become notorious in other TCGs like Magic, and there’s no arguing with the fact that seeing this card pop-up in rival decks is tedious.

Silver Surfer

The Silver Surfer has its own archetype, and has consistently proven itself as one of the standout cards in Marvel Snap. While it’s not the best Marvel Snap card ever, it’s versatile and there’s enough three-cost cards out there that fit into its playstyle well.

On top of that, the Silver Surfer can easily become a card with anywhere between 8-16 Power, far surpassing that of Death in some cases.

Death

Speaking of, Death is one of the all-time greats within the Marvel Universe, let alone Marvel Snap. The card shows off a cost of 8, which is made much more feasible by the ability to ‘cost 1 less for each card destroyed in a game.’ On top of that, the base power of 12 makes this a dangerous card to come up against.

Thanks to Death’s pretty thematic ability, you will find the card at the center of most good Destroy decks.

Shuri

Shuri is another card locked behind Collection Level 486, which Pool 3 represents. Having only been released for just over a month, Shuri has already made an emphatic landing within Marvel Snap’s best decks. Consider pairing with Red Skull, alongside a Taskmaster / Ravonna Renslayer combo in your decks.

“If you play your next card at this location, double its power.” Shuri’s Reveal is unanimously decided upon as an overpowered ability, and you can really set up your deck for mass destruction with the right cards around it.

What is the best card in Marvel Snap Pool 3?

Shuri is the standout card in Pool 3. Despite only sporting a Power of 1, the card doubles other cards that fill its position, allowing you to turn otherwise average cards into monsters.

How do you get to Pool 3 in Marvel Snap?

You can unlock Pool 3 by levelling up to Collector Level 486. This is not an easy task, and will require plenty of grinding to get to the point you’re looking for. That said, the benefits of levelling this high speak for themselves, with the chances of pulling a Mystery Card doubling hitting fifty-fifty.
